Our Philosophy

ilo is modeled after the Finnish early childhood development approach, with four decades of proven success, and recognized as one of the best educational systems in the world. Our program is designed to promote children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development, and we do this through play-based learning, exploration, and discovery.

The Team

Cindy Frankmore

Director and Educator

A Colorado native, Ms. Cindy is a seasoned and dedicated early childhood educator with a teaching career spanning 25 years. She has worked with children in private and public schools throughout the Front Range and has extensive experience in Special Education. Ms. Cindy holds a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education, and a master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She is a licensed teacher and director in the state of Colorado.

Ms. Amy

Educator

Ms. Amy is a distinguished teacher with a rich tapestry of 16 years dedicated to shaping young minds. She has worked in the Aurora and Denver Public school districts as an elementary school teacher and specialized in reading intervention. Her breadth of experience also includes being involved with the opening of a charter school in Denver, working with an in-house autism center, and being a certified Gifted and Talented coordinator.

Ms. Taylor

Educator

From an early age, Ms. Taylor has known that she wanted to be an educator. She began her childhood education journey as an Infant Assistant Teacher, then becoming a preschool teacher. She holds an associate's degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and is currently in a bachelor's program for Elementary Education. After completing her bachelor's, Ms. Taylor will pursue a master's degree related to childhood education.

Ms. Shelbby, certified teacher

Educator

With a bachelor's degree in business, Ms. Shelby initially applied her bountiful energy in the hustle and bustle of the corporate world until being drawn to early childhood education in 2015. Since then, Ms. Shelby has worked with children at the Parker Recreation Childcare Center and the Parker Core Knowledge Charter School before joining ilo (formerly known as Cozy Pine). Ms. Shelby is credentialed in Early Childhood Education.

Ms. Isa

Educator's Assistant

Ms. Isa is the newest member of the ilo team and brings boundless energy to the school. She comes from a family of passionate educators and is just beginning her own career working with children. Isa found inspiration and fulfillment from babysitting and as a volunteer at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo summer camps. She is currently starting classes related to early childhood education and counseling.
